ARC 25-26 Teacher of the Year
Congratulations Snyder Sensei on being named ARC 25-26 Teacher of the Year!
Snyder Sensei has been teaching Kindergarten to 8th grade Japanese at Alicia R. Chacón International for 21 years. He graduated from Hope College with a B.A. in Spanish and Japanese. He seeks to foster a love of language learning in all of his students, and to broaden their horizons by introducing them to a language and culture different from their own. He also coaches girls' soccer and UIL chess puzzles at ARC. His soccer teams have won 2 district championships, and ARC had a first-place finish in UIL chess puzzles in 2nd and 3rd grade this year. He is also a devoted husband and father of 3 wonderful children. In his free time he enjoys reading fantasy novels, traveling, and playing video games.
This recognition is a testament to Snyder sensei's unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment to your students' success. You have a remarkable ability to inspire, educate, and make a difference in the lives of so many. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed, and you truly embody what it means to be an exceptional teacher.
We are incredibly proud to have you as part of our ARC Family, and we are grateful for the positive impact you continue to have on our explorers, colleagues, and everyone around you.
